Comments Policy

I am totally fine with most comments about my blog, but I do what people to understand is how I manage them.

  1. I love comments on this blog – they are just, if not more so, that what I post to it myself. I have found that the comments add to knowledge and experience that is shared here. I say, if you want to leave a comment, please do, you are more than welcome to do so. I do not care if you are a beginner or an expert I want you to feel that you are free to have your say.
  2. I delete spam – I do have spam filters in place which will automatically catch the majority of automated spam comments. I do not put up with it and if any slip through the filters I will delete it immediately.
  3. Relevant links in comments are actively encouraged – if you are leaving a comment on this blog and want to point to a link to your own or someone else’s site that is relevant to the topic then please feel free to do so. This only adds to the overall conversation and content of the discussion.
  4. Irrelevant links are not encouraged – if you leave a comment with a link that has no relevance to the post on which you are commenting it will be deleted. This has a tendency to become not only annoying to me but to other who come to my blog on a regular basis. So, please do not do this.
  5. At the present time I have decided not to delete signatures from comments as long as they are relevant and have added to the conversation. ie if you write a comment that says “try viagra” (as an example) and then leave a signature on your comment it will more than likely be deleted.

I do hope that these guidelines will help you in being able to post to my blog and keep it to the standards that have been set for it.

Until next time “Ride for the Brand” Bob Burdekin
